Lore Invasion coming to playmech.com

As many know, we here at Max Gaming are giant mech fans, so when a cry to bring back Lore: Invasion came after beign shut down since last November we worked with the community leaders to see what we could do.

Thanks to Logan and Tim here at the office for putting in some spare time, and for community member and Invasion MOD king "Slingshot", Lore: Invasion will be coming back as a free community run game in the near future.  And as it turns out a side project of a couple of us is PlayMech.com, a site dedicated to mech games, will be the home of the free release and its community.   Look forward to seeing other mech fans in the game, and talking about the various mech related games in general.

More news to come later.

Newell on the Companys iPhone dev.

The sleeping giant, our own Tim Newell talks about what we have been doing with the iphone on his blog, WOW these guys have been busy.  Catch up by checking it out HERE.

"Of course like everyone I am sure, we were flooded with ideas to bring to the platform. The nice thing about iphone development and using a product like iTGB is it lets anyone in your team with some scripting knowledge build prototypes without having a mac or a device. So after serveral prototype ideas from Matt Mitman he ended up finishing Jounce to be released on the iPhone." - Tim Newell

Mitman talks JOUNCE!!!

Matt Mitman, designer and developer on JOUNCE gives a indepth interview on GarageGames.com.  check it out HERE!!!!

Excerpt:

"What was your development process like?

Jounce was completed extremely fast. All told (not counting playing the game), I put in around 20 hours of work into v1.0, and Tim spent a couple hours packaging up builds for testing and finally submitting to the iTunes App store. I created all of the gameplay related parts myself, and then Tim did the Mac port/submission side of things, so just two guys on the dev team."

JOUNCE bounces onto the iPhone!!!!

Max Gaming is proud to present a creation out of the mind of Matt Mitman called Jounce which is currently available on the APP store for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This also marks our 2nd APP made with iTGB!!!

Musically bounce your way through over 32000 levels!

Jounce has a simple premise: bounce falling balls to reach the goal. As your score is dependent on how complex of a path you create for the balls to follow, the game can be as easy or difficult as you make it. Add in clean, smooth graphics, and generative music, and you have a game that can range from Zen-like to frantic at your whim.

Designed to be a great way to kill a few minutes or an hour, Jounce levels only take about two minutes, so even if you just have a moment to kill, you can still attempt a new high score!
